Regarding a raffle system that would work. I’m not sure of one that would work off the top of my head, but it seems a simple enough program to make (I reason) I could potentially build a simple script that could be run through python to do it, but that will take a lot of time to build where it’s a very side project. I really like it. Excellent way to put together a brain dump of mine. You’ve done a great job. I’ve got one suggestion. If the requests are limited like Vader/TKs then maybe instead of all 6 TKs we still limit to 3 TKs or something to allow others opportunity too. Yeah I really stand by the specific characters, especially for the kids. Not to offend anyone or demean costumes, but kids are less likely to be as reactive to an officer, or a scout trooper, or 10 different flavors of clones. They would however love Vader, Stormtrooper, Rex, Rey, etc.

I will admit this amendment does require a little more dedication from GECs, but I know that our current crew can do that. Additionally, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with asking a little more dedication from all staff in their roles if it makes experiences for members and visitors better.

Yeah I agree, that works. Just whatever we can do to give our members opportunity to join in on events that they don’t. I know there’s the idea of seniority if it’s like multiple “face characters” which I do think should still exist, but in situations where it’s not face characters and it’s limited whatever we can do to help everyone have an equal chance.

Do lightsaber hilts count as weapons? No, they do not, though preferably you should have them hanging from your belt or whichever part of the costume they are set in.
