The answer revolves around a couple points.

1. Those particular months tend to have less events year over year with incliment weather.

Friendly reminder here that to maintain your detachment affiliation as approved, you need to be active/ log in on the individual detachment forum sites! I know Blizzard Force is currently starting to trim their inactive members off the “approved” list!
