Alright, back to the build! So I did the necessary trimming and have started gluing the coverstrips on the forearms.

Started with the front side of the right arm

This is my first go at trying this and I got a little messy with the glue :wacko: LOL. Thank goodness E6000 peels right off!!

OK!! So I finally have enough of my soft goods (undersuit and gloves) to do fitment adjustments on the arms

Thanks Matt! I’m being very meticulous with getting it right. Both for upper level approval from FISD (after 501st approval) but also getting it looking exactly how I want it within those specs.

Alright, back to it!
I wanted to change the angle of the ears. Here’s a reference from a sandtrooper, but you can see the angle of the ear screws runs along the same angle as the backside of the temple trapezoid and the screws on the ANOVOS bucket do not.

Thank you for the welcome!! Oh nice, you’re fairly close to me, I live out by Copper Hills High. The Executioner is def my fav TK from the new trilogy. I’m already thinking ahead to my next build 😉 lol. I think I’m gonna try a FO Tie Fighter Pilot next. I’m excited to get to know people in the garrison. It’s great that everyone is so helpful and friendly!

I wanted to repaint the frown and was really unsure if I wanted to change the tubestripes to be closer to the cheeks, but I had a little accident when I was attempting to strip the paint off the frown (due to not taking proper precaution, such as taping other areas – lesson learned) and got some thinner on the left tubestripe decal and it took off…[Read more]

I wanted more flexibility with the placement of the brow so I disassembled the helmet and cut off the lump above the eyes. I then carved out the eyes and the teeth a bit more.

I replaced the rubber brow trim and cut it how I prefer it to look

A few weeks ago I got all the rough cuts of the armor done

I’m gonna have to make adjustments as I have pretty thin legs and arms. I’ll be getting to that after I finish the mods to my bucket

Thank you, I’m glad I found you all as well! That would be great! I don’t get on FB much, but I can definitely use it to connect and communicate. I assume the FB group is a good way to find out about events and volunteer to be a spotter and such?
