Ben good question. I dont think that the GS has much voting rights as far as representation. For example here in Utah when planning Comic Con we dont say “Well the 501st has 60 members who contribute so we should have more say than Saber Guild who has 20”. Each of our local clubs has a representative or two who contribute to the discussion.…[Read more]

The need for it is similar to the Local command Facebook group we have here in Utah. Now we dont necessarily share funds locally (we do all pitch in where needed in joint booths etc) with other groups but for bigger events like celebration it is definitely beneficial.
