My dad is a manufacturing engineer, so he has all of the know-how and tooling to do the vacuforming. I keep trying to convince him he needs to get into this hobby because he’d be incredible at it.

Candy Apple Red is one of the colors I’ve been looking at. I might even take the armor in to an auto shop and have them do it, still need to see what that would cost though.

Another color I was looking at is Ruby Red, but I think it’s just a tad too purple.

Now that you mention it, I can definitely see the brown in the one on the left, I hadn’t noticed it as “brown” before. Thanks! I’ll probably stick closer to the right then, it’s still a nice darkish color and should look good. Any thoughts about a little bit of a metallic quality?

I would say one on the right, the one on the left pulls a bit more brown than what the typical IK is.
