(Mens and Womens Changing rooms)Maximum number invited: 20\nLFL Guidelines:All SW themed events with Major and Minor league teams are now considered OPEN INVITES. This means we do not have to cast and teams do not have to pay performers. Teams must welcome all fan groups on a first come basis and cannot ask for specific characters or specific amounts. They can set a maximum limit based on accommodations. Open Invites are just that: an invitation to fan groups to show up at an event in costume. Teams cannot direct fan group members to do any activities or be anywhere specific at any specific time – they may provide the groups with a list of activities to self-organize and participate in\, but it is at fan group members’ own discretion. We strongly prefer that characters not throw out first pitches\, participate in puck drops\, sing the National Anthem or things of that nature – if they want\, fan group members may escort a child or fan to the mound\, etc.\, but must not be directed to do so. Characters should not hold\, wear\, sit in or stand on any branded item or logo\, especially with a team emblem. The fan groups are welcome to be photographed with others wearing the team logo/brands or in front of signage featuring the team logo/brand\, however. We strongly suggest that teams provide a handler/security for costumed fans during activities to ensure the safety and security of said costumed fans\, to protect them from overzealous game attendees. Costumed fan groups must be referred to as members from their respective fan groups\, and not as official SW/Disney/Lucasfilm characters.Please note that if you or your club members require a handler or handlers at the event\, you must provide them yourself and not rely on handlers from other clubs to fulfill this responsibility.

DESCRIPTION:  \nSophomore orientation at the local high school. Our school has often been called the “Darth Vader” of the local schools\, so we are leaning into that. We will be having students enter the school and want to give them the feeling of entering an Empire run event. We will have a 35 minute assembly in our auditorium followed by the students getting full tours of the school and finishing up with snacks and mingling in one of the gyms. SUMMARY:Shine a Light NF Walk Utah
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Shine a Light NF Walk is a fundraising event to benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation and help end NF. Neurofibromatosis\, or NF\, affects millions of people worldwide\, but few have heard of it and there currently is no cure. The Shine a Light NF Walk brings NF out of the shadows\, raising awareness and funding research to help better the lives of those living with NF.\n\nOur event is a celebration of our NF Heroes and their families. We have face painters\, games\, live music\, and other activities for everyone to do starting at 5 PM when registration opens. Then around 6/6:30 PM we will have a short program before we have our physical walk. Afterwards\, we will have snacks and more fun before everyone heads home. In the past\, the characters have helped send our walkers off and then greeted them when they have returned.\n\nReferred by: The 501st Legion has supported our event in dozens of cities for years now\, including our Utah event. We would love to have you all involved in our walk this year to help make it an even better day for our participants. The characters are always a huge hit with our kids!\n\nThis is at sugar house park at the sugar beet pavillion\nlight sabers and blasters are ok\n\nNO secure changing area\, this is a change at your car event.
