DESCRIPTION:The Utah Jazz are offering an open invitation to costumed fan groups to attend their event on December 2\, 2022. This is approved by Lucasfilm.\n\n\n* Parking Location and Details: Parking Place located on the north east corner of the arena. Enter the lot through the booth located on 300 West.\n* Event Date: December 2\, 2022\n* Event Start and end Time: 5:30pm-9pm\n* Call Time: 4:30pm\n* Changing Room Details: There will be a space and access to restrooms.\n* Maximum Number invited: 35 costumed attendees\, 15 spotters\n* RSVP date: 11/30/22\n\n“All SW themed events with Major and Minor league teams are now considered OPEN INVITES. This means we do not have to cast and teams do not have to pay performers. Teams must welcome all fan groups on a first come basis and cannot ask for specific characters or specific amounts. They can set a maximum limit based on accommodations. Open Invites are just that: an invitation to fan groups to show up at an event in costume. Teams cannot direct fan group members to do any activities or be anywhere specific at any specific time – they may provide the groups with a list of activities to self-organize and participate in\, but it is at fan group members’ own discretion. We strongly prefer that characters not throw out first pitches\, participate in puck drops\, sing the National Anthem or things of that nature – if they want\, fan group members may escort a child or fan to the mound\, etc.\, but must not be directed to do so. Characters should not hold\, wear\, sit in or stand on any branded item or logo\, especially with a team emblem. The fan groups are welcome to be photographed with others wearing the team logo/brands or in front of signage featuring the team logo/brand\, however. We strongly suggest that teams provide a handler/security for costumed fans during activities to ensure the safety and security of said costumed fans\, to protect them from overzealous game attendees. Costumed fan groups must be referred to as members from their respective fan groups\, and not as official SW/Disney/Lucasfilm characters.\nPlease note that if you or your club members require a handler or handlers at the event\, you must provide them yourself and not rely on handlers from other clubs to fulfill this responsibility.\nPlease do not RSVP with LFL. The corresponding team contact is listed below if you and your members are interested. SUMMARY:Redwood Elementary Christmas Party
DESCRIPTION:Redwood Elementary is a Title One school in West Valley City with very diverse demographics. We have worked hard with donors this year to put on an event to provide Christmas for each student at our school. We will have Santa at the event\, and would love to have a few Star Wars characters as well if they are available and willing to volunteer.  Last year three news stations came out to the event and about 400 families of our students. We are expecting another great turnout.

DESCRIPTION:This will be a final memorial service for my dearest friend Christopher (Chris) Carlsson. Chris battled a rare cancer for 5 years\, Multiple Myeloma\, and succumbed to complications this past Saturday evening\, 12/3/2022. Christopher (Chris) was a big fan of the star wars universe and a lover of the 501st\, and having the 501st at his service was one of his last wishes. If this is possible\, it would be wonderful to have some members attend the service. His wife\, Michelle\, was also a fan\, and will be developing an agenda for the service. We figured indoor attendance would be best with unknown weather this time of year. A perimeter honor guard would be wonderful.
