SUMMARY:Toys4Tots Fundraising Event
DESCRIPTION:Eric Alan Hall is the organizer\, and he’s provided the following event details:\n“I am organizing the Toys For Tots drive after two years of it not happening due to COVID. This year\, it will be at Game Haven in Sandy (9860 S 700 E)\, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday\, November 12th. All cosplaying groups are welcome to attend.\n* This is a rain or shine event\, so dress appropriately.\n* We will be outside most of the time waving at cars\, or posing for photos with donors.\n* There are large restrooms if your members need to change into costume.\n* Your members are welcome to make signs to catch the attention of passing motorists.\n* At times\, cars will pull into the parking lot to give a cash donation. It’s helpful to have a Halloween or Easter style bucket to carry cash into the store for keep it safe\, and to count at the end of the night.\n* Cosplayers are not required to stay the entire six hours. Any time spent is appreciated.\n* There is a water fountain inside\, and a sandwich shop\, a frozen yogurt shop\, and a Chevron minimart in the same strip mall area where your members can purchase food. Game Haven itself also sells snacks and hot and cold drinks.\n* I am looking into getting some publicity support from FanX for this as well.\nI am attaching graphics that you can use with your groups to publicize this if you wish. I am the point of contact for this event\, so feel free to contact me with any questions.\nThank you!

SUMMARY:Ogden Lights Parade 2022
DESCRIPTION:It’s Parade Time!!!\nWe’re hoping to have another great entry and experience. Please pay attention to this thread for any additional forthcoming details. Due to safety concerns\, some of the regulations have changed and THE RULES MUST BE OBEYED!!!\n\nPlease read over all the parade information thoroughly. By signing up and attending this event you are also acknowledging that you have both read and agree to abide by the following parade rules and etiquette. Failure to do so can and will result in your immediate removal from the parade!!!\n——————————————\n\n• This is a change at your vehicle/arrive in costume event. There is no fixed location for our troopers to store their gear and change.\n\n• Riders in the parade may not get on or off vehicles at anytime during the parade. Riders must not ride on or hang over the edge of the vehicle and must be at least 18 inches from the edge of the vehicle. Any floats with children under 13 years of age\, must be accompanied by an adult to enforce these rules.\n\n• FOR THOSE RIDING IN A TRAILER–We are going to have 2 for those who wish to ride. One is only for ages 18 and over. The other is for Anyone under the age of 18 and their Supervising Adult(s). If anyone age 13 and under is riding\, they MUST be accompanied by a Supervising Adult. No exceptions.\n\n• This year it appears anyone of any age can walk the parade route. For anyone ages 13 and under that decides to walk the parade route\, we are asking for a supervising adult also to walk with them to enforce the parade rules.\n\n\n• Anyone riding at the start of the parade MUST remain in the float/trailer for the entire duration of the parade. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Anyone leaving or trying to enter the trailer/float during the parade will immediately be excused from the parade with our entry. Supervising Adults that fail to control their minors under 13 years of age will also be excused.\n\n• Parade: Line up from 4pm to 5pm. Parade entry must be set up and in place NO later than 5:00 pm. Parade begins promptly at 5:30 pm.\n\n• ABSOLUTELY NO SANTA COSTUMES will be allowed in parade or as part of a parade entry. Ogden City will provide the ONLY Santa in the parade.\n\n• All entries must include lights. We have had a lot of fun in the past decorating our costumes with lights and ornamentation. Feel free to be as creative as you can so long as your final look is still family friendly.\n\n• Vehicles not pulling a float must be covered 50% with lights. This is the ELECTRIC LIGHT PARADE\, and it takes place at night. Entries must be illuminated.\n\n• Unlit trucks pulling a lighted trailer or float bed are allowed.\n\n• All participants are expected to exercise caution in all parade activities. Participants may not encourage spectators to leave their designated area and approach vehicles. We can pose for pictures provided we alone remain in the parade route. Spectators leaving their seats to take pictures with us in the street is no longer allowed. If a costumed attendee steps into the audience area for any reason\, that is allowed but that attendee is responsible for catching back up to our group should they get left behind. The parade does not stop for anyone.\n\n• Walkers accompanying a float or vehicle must walk beside the vehicle\, not in front or behind. Walkers must maintain at least a 10-foot distance from the vehicle. If the group has anyone under 13 years of age\, an adult must be on each side of the vehicle to enforce the 10-foot space. We will need between 4-6 volunteers for our parade vehicles to enforce this new rule.\n\n• Nothing may be thrown from floats or vehicles. Candy or other items may be handed to viewers by walkers as part of your parade entry. If these items need to be refilled\, the items must be retrieved from a source other than the moving vehicle/float.\n\n• NO SOLICITATION by anyone will be allowed before or during the parade.\n\n• Ogden City reserves the right to position entries in the parade at our discretion or to deny participation if parade entry guidelines are not met.\n\n2100 Washington Blvd\, Ogden\, UT 84401\, United States
