DESCRIPTION:Utah Symphony presents:  Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in concert.  This is an LFL approved event\, which means only LFL canon approved costumes may troop the event. \nThis is a very popular event.  Our troopers will be in the lobby of Abravanel Hall to greet guests and have photos taken.  Covid-19 protocols are in affect\, masks are required.  Guests must take their own pictures and social distancing is required. \nThere will be a secure location for changing and storing gear.  Free parking is available on the street and City Creek parking is free for the first two hours. \nA maximum of 20 costumers will be allowed.  Event sign-ups will stop August 19th as the Symphony needs numbers by August 20th. \nEvent Contact is Melissa Robison mrobison@usuo.org

DESCRIPTION:My name is McKaylin Tu\, I am a pre-approval specialist at Utah Independent Mortgage. We are sponsoring a fundraiser for a young teen in Roy who has been fighting cancer. Diego (Moose) Alberto Diego was diagnosed with LMG Warm Auto Immune Hemolytic Anemia with HLH and Lymphoma Cancer. His family has been helping him fight this cancer since December. Because of this the family has been racking up the medical bills and his father took an extended leave of absence to better assist Diego’s treatment resulting in a large loss of household income. The fundraiser is on Monday\, September 20th 2021 at the Emma Russell park in Roy\, UT.\nWe are hoping to have cosplayers in our designated “kid zone” area. SUMMARY:The Force is Strong at Foothill
DESCRIPTION:Foothill Elementary in Orem\, UT is hosting it’s annual Fall Festival Fundraiser in September and our theme is Star Wars “The Force is Strong at Foothill”. This Festival fundraiser is planned by the PTA to raise money for all of the school programs throughout the year and to raise money to support our teachers and students.\n\n\nWe have an amazing turn out of over 2\,000 people usually and go all out with a BIG carnival. We would love to have as many of you attend as possible. We plan to do a laser tag shoot out\, save the eggs from Grogu\, Jedi training camp (battle a villain at the end)\, character dance battle (we will cross our fingers for this to happen)\, Jabba the hutt menagerie\, and our finale will be saving a character from Darth Vader or Kylo Ren with the help of all the kids who have gone though the Jedi Training. This are just some of our ideas that we have going. If you have suggestions or tried and true activities you love to do we are open to them.\n\n\nI have already contacted the Rebel Legion and 501st and both are interested in coming.
