DESCRIPTION:FanX has asked us to participate in a virtual panel discussion that will be prerecorded on May 2nd at 5:00 pm. Garrison Command will determine who the Garrison’s spoke person will be\, but anyone who wishes to kit up and be part of the panel may do so. Keep in mind\, you may only be on camera for a few seconds\, but you will need to be in kit the whole time as we don’t know exactly when you will be shown.\nSome key items to be aware of:\n1- Do you have a good quality webcam?\n2- Do you have a good internet connection?\n3- It’s short notice\, can you do it?\n4- More for me than anyone else (I hope)\, do you still fit in your kit?!? 🙂\n5- Be aware of your background of your video and your surroundings. I think we’ve all seen the embarrassing virtual meetings memes out there.\nAs soon as I have the meeting information\, I’ll post it to the event page. \nWe will start the meeting around 30 minutes before we start recording at 5:00 pm to go over any technical issues and to go over some of the questions.

DESCRIPTION:Clark Planetarium has invited us to participate in their virtual May 4th activity of “Stump the 501st Legion”. During this fun online panel\, we will be asked various questions from those watching to see if they can stump the “experts” (that would be us). A Zoom meeting will be sent out as soon as I get it.\n\n\n \n\n\nThe event starts promptly at 3:00 pm on May 4th\n\n\n \n\n\nKits: So we can answer questions\, we are going to be dressed in our Legion or Garrison racing shirts and have your bucket either in front of you or next to you to show which character you kit up as.\n\n\n \n\n\nLike the FanX event\, a good internet connection and a webcam is needed. Phone cameras or iPad cameras can be used as Zoom will work on those devices.\n\n\n \n\n\nWe have no idea how well this will work out\, but let’s have some fun with it. DESCRIPTION:Hillside Middle School has asked that we get as many members provide video shout-outs to the students of Hillside Middle School for making it through the year. Things that can be said are things like\, “Congratulations on making it through the years!” Or “It’s been quite the year! Way to go in making it through!” Things like that. You can be in kit on in a group shirt holding your helmet or lightsaber. As this is for a school\, we should probably still keep blasters out of the video. Have some fun with it. \nPlease send the video to me (Denney Fifield) on Facebook Messenger\, I’ll put the video together for them. We need the videos by Friday the 22nd so we can get it to the school in time. We’d love to have representation from all the groups.
