This means we do not have to cast and teams do not have to pay performers. Teams must welcome all fan groups on a first come basis and cannot ask for specific characters or specific amounts. They can set a maximum limit based on accommodations. Open Invites are just that: an invitation to fan groups to show up at an event in costume. Teams cannot direct fan group members to do any activities or be anywhere specific at any specific time – they may provide the groups with a list of activities to self-organize and participate in\, but it is at fan group members’ own discretion. We strongly prefer that characters not throw out first pitches\, participate in puck drops\, sing the National Anthem or things of that nature – if they want\, fan group members may escort a child or fan to the mound\, etc.\, but must not be directed to do so. Throughout the week\, mascot Miracles and princess characters are also invited.\nWARNING: “Important ” WARNING\nsaturday \, they open at 10:00am to 6pm\n2-hour shifts with 2-4 characters per shift max; more than 4 is too many. Also\, if 2 hours is too much\, stay for an hour or an hour and a half\, Or take two shifts and do 4 hours. Take a break when you need one that is ok as well 🙂 Do one shift in the morning and another at night; it’s all ok.\nIf you can make it\, click going\, THEN post what shift time you will be going in the posts I create below for each shift so everyone knows who and how many are already signed up for that shift. There will be 5 available shifts per day except for Saturday\, which will be one shift shorter. It is okay if we don’t fill them all up\, and it is OK if you do more than one or multiple shifts per day.\nPlease be aware that we are around children and families. Even in the area we are changing\, people can hear us ( we tend to be loud; we love to visit ). Save the colorful language for outside.
