DESCRIPTION:Max attendance: 10 troopers\, 5 spotters. \nNOTE: We are implementing a new raffle system for limited-attendance events. Facebook commits that don’t also commit here will not be counted . If more than 10 troopers (or 5 spotters) sign up\, a raffle will be held to see who gets to go. We’ll give it at least a week from initial posting before holding the raffle. \nNo blasters. \nJordan Hills elementary school wants us back\, last year was a huge hit. \nEach character will be escorted by 2 students to classrooms where they will read from a short star wars book ( selected at arrival ) and engage with students by reading and answering questions after and taking pictures if they like. \nThese will be approximately 15 minute intervals\, with the trooper visiting up to 6 different classrooms. The purpose is to strengthen the importance of reading in a fun and engaging way that the students don’t get often and gives the teacher a bit of a break. Remember you will be reading out loud. If you wear a helmet and don’t have a microphone/can’t see\, this probably isn’t for you. \nThere is parking in the school parking lot and if by chance it is full there is a local LDS chapel on the other side of the street that can be used to park and walk across. \nChanging area will be on the stage \, there are no mirrors or bathrooms on the stage area\, make sure you use the facilities before getting changed :-). \nThe school said last year it was one of the best activities they have had in some time\, the students and teachers both appreciated the break from the normal routine. \nPlease arrive 30 minutes early.

This event is very popular with the fans and has been a sellout crowd every year. Due to the number of events on the weekend of April 29\, there are now two shifts so people can spend a shorter time at the Ball Park.\n\nWe will be participating in a Make A Wish reveal at the start of the game and as always\, we will be taking sign ups for anyone who would like to be part of the on the field activities during the game.\n\nOther than that we will be splitting up into small groups and interacting with the guests and taking pictures. We will try to take a large group shot between 7-8pm when the shifts overlap.\n\nWe have (7) Spots for costumed characters for both shifts. Let me know which shift you want to attend. We are giving priority to costumed characters\, but if you want to handle for this event please let me know. \n\nEnter the Ballpark will be from the east side of the stadium through the Loading Dock door. We will have a spot to change and restrooms and food and drink will be provided.\n\n*Duplicate characters are OK ( Chewbacca/Darth Vader/Princess Leia) but will need to be spaced out.\n* Blasters are OK\n*Lightsabers are OK

Each club at our school is doing a booth\, and our characters are being requested to help with their Photo Op booth. Lunch will be provided for those trooping around lunchtime. Secure changing/storage will also be provided.
