DESCRIPTION:Jordan hills for may the 4th but on the 1st \, is a star wars reading/ Q&A in classrooms\, star wars books will be provided and you are welcome to bring one of your favorites to read.\nThis is a round robin type event\, star wars characters will be led to classes by the schools student leaders to read and answer questions and take photos\, timeframe per room is about 15 minutes and travle to the next class 5 minutes\, you will visit anywhere from 4 to 6 classes per trooper\, depending on how many show up it may be 1 or 2 per class.\nafter the reading is done\, in the past they will have all characters gather near the principles office to take group pictures and some full classes will come down to take pictures as well.\nthe teachers and principle have really enjoyed the last 3 years doing this and the principle and vice principle particpipate as well dressing up in jedi robes and reading in classrooms too.\nwe need to be ready 15 minutes before the start time\, probably be best showing up 30 minutes before to be ready \, secure changing area is on the stage like before.\nno blasters \, but light sabers are approved\nnumber of attendees:1200\nMax characters: 16 \nSee less

SUMMARY:Star Wars Week- May the Fourth Be with You (Day 1)
DESCRIPTION:From the requestor: A request was made earlier this year\, but we had to move the scope back a bit. We are still planning on having the Empire take over the library on May 1. There will be a variety of rebel activities in the evening /afternoon throughout the library. We would love a couple of stormtroopers to walk through and give staff and patrons a bit of a hard time. The kids that would get the biggest kick out of seeing Storm troopers walking through the library are here between 4:00-6:00. The dream is that two of you would do a 20-30 minute security check sometime between 4-6\, Wednesday\, Thursday\, and Friday. Walk through the library\, check ID\, pose for pictures\, threaten a few librarians\, look for rebels. Play with our people and make this an amazing experience. We have changing space\, a parking lot\, elevator\, and rabid fans. (Two of them work here and are already losing their minds. Just a heads up.)\n\n\nSecure staging/changing area will be provided. Blasters and lightsabers are permitted
