DESCRIPTION:The JDRF Mountain West Chapter is hosting the JDRF One Walk Utah on Saturday\, May 20\, 2023 at the Shops at South Town in Sandy\, Utah. We expect our event to attract nearly 5\,000 walkers and raise more than $500\,000 to support type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Every year\, 40\,000 people in the United States alone are diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Besides coping with a lifelong dependence on insulin\, these adults and children must face the constant threat of devastating and life-threatening complications. T1D requires intensive\, 24/7 management. There are no days off\, and there is no cure.\nJDRF is the leading global organization funding T1D research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D.  As the largest charitable supporter of T1D research\, JDRF has funded over $2.5 billion in research funding since 1970 and is currently funding research in more than 20 countries worldwide. DESCRIPTION:Ride the Brainwave is an event put on Children and the Earth to raise money for families with children that have terminal or life long illnesses or diseases. We have a 5K\, UTV ride\, Motorcycle ride\, food trucks\, concerts\, car show\, kids carnival and auctions/raffles.  We will have water\, restrooms and a changing area available. Food trucks will also be at the event.

DESCRIPTION:Provo Rehab has invited us again to come to their facility to finish of Nursing Week. This is a casual meet and greet event. We will be going into residents rooms to get pictures with residents and occasionally stop in staging areas where residents will be brought to us to get their picture taken.
