If you do not have a military ID for base access\, ensure you include your driver license number\, state and date of birth.\nhttps://einvitations.afit.edu/inv/index.cfm?i=609711…\n*The hard cut off for RSVPs is Aug 1st or when we have 30 people sign up\, whichever is first.*\n\n\nEvent Description: Airmen and their family/guests are invited to attend this free-of-charge event which will feature unit capability demos\, combat aircraft and military equipment displays.\n– There will also be fun and games for the entire family\, including a splash zone\, bouncy houses\, climbing wall\, cosplayers\, live music and much more.\n– Airmen must escort their family and guests on base.\n– Static Displays: F-35 Lightning\, A-10 Warthogs\, AH-64 Apache\, UH-60 Blackhawk\, UH-72 Lakota\, C-12 King Air\, T-6 Texan II\, C-130 Hercules\, KC-135 Stratotanker\n– Food Trucks: Taste of Louisiana\, The Ramen\, Miso Yum\, Jessica’s Burritos\, Anytime Breakfast\, Zipped Italian Ice\, Kona Ice\, Kernel Lefty’s Kettle Korn\, Dakine Grindz\, 808 Wild Tune\, Apollo Burger\, Alpha Coffee\n\n\n– NO alcohol or firearms allowed on base. *Cosplay weapons are allowed (cannot look “real” e.g. Glock\, S&W\, etc.).*\n– Appropriate civilian attire required.\n– Secure Dressing Area: Yes\, we will email details out\, the week of\, to those that RSVP.\n– Access to the event for those with disabilities? Yes\n– Water and/or food available for purchase? Yes\, water and food is available for purchase and they will have some water stations for people to refill personal bottles.\n– Parking either free or paid? Yes – free on base\n\n\n*What Safety Measures will be in place in regards to the pandemic?\n– NON-VACCINATED individuals should continue to follow applicable CDC and DoD mask guidance: masks must cover both the nose and mouth and conform to all current guidance from the CDC and OSHA; and\, all individuals will practice physical distancing by staying at least 6 feet apart.\n– FULLY VACCINATED DoD personnel are no longer required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors at DoD facilities.\n\n\nA small booth/space will be available (6-ft table and a few chairs) in the main area as a centralized location. However\, “roaming” is encouraged\, to take photos and enjoy the event.
